 This is going to sound trivial, but it's huge for me.

For the first time in my entire life - and I'm 67 years old - I broke $1000 in my savings account. Woohoo!

Sorry to be so late responding. I rarely check DW these days. But congratulations! I do know how wonderful this is for you!

I hope to email you sometime soon, but I rarely spend time online these days. I miss talking to you. Part of the reason I haven't emailed you is that I haven't read your book yet, and I'm embarrassed about that. It's not that I think you're upset, but I wouldn't blame you if you are. The thing is, that it's on the top of my "home pile" of books to read (along with a lot of Katie's), but I spend a lot of time with library activities these days, and being surrounded by all those books makes me want to take them home and read them before I forget them! And once I have them, of course I have a time limit in which to read them. And I have several library-going/working friends who tempt me with even more recommendations every time I go. As poor as an excuse that may be, that's mine.

LOL! As excuses go, being tempted by books is one of the best. You are quite right, I'm not upset. I'm a master procrastinator, so I ain't throwin' no stones in *that* glass house!

I'm hoping that, with all the library activities, your health is better.

Well, they have closed the library for the time being, but, since I am an introvert by nature, it's not hitting me too hard. ;) We actually have been having a bit of DRAMA, as people are wont to do in an election year, so I was thinking of taking a break anyway. I can keep in touch with my particular friends (including you, of course!) via social media and the good ol' telephone for one elderly lady who is quite isolated and doesn't have a computer or a cell phone.

I'm glad you're not hurt or upset. Maybe this enforced social distancing will get me to start working through the pile of books that I actually own!

I'm sorry the library closed, drama and all. But being an introvert right now is helpful.

It's nice of you to keep in touch with the non-tech lady. It could be a lifeline for her.
