Doctors, doctors

Randi had (outpatient) surgery yesterday to cauterize a vein which has been draining into her leg. It's been messy, swelled up her foot, and caused infections. She's doing fine today, but between the vascular surgeon and wound care, we've been spending a lot of time with doctor's appointments. Add in my dentist appointments, and I'm getting really tired of driving.
And speaking of the dentist, I've at least managed to find a way to finance my plates. Monday I got to get fitted.

Hope your driving load gets easier. I was just thinking of you the other day when we were driving back and forth to camp. Wes doesn't mind the drive at all, but I would hate it. And I kept thinking of your long commute without any air conditioning - what a nightmare! I'm glad that is gone, at least.

I did two summers with no AC. I couldn't have done a 3rd. You know, I think driving is like a talent - some people are born to it, and some people have to struggle with it. I was pretty good when I was driving to Dallas, but now, when the furthest I go is 15-20 miles away, I suck.
You might be interested... or not? Anyway, several things have come together to revive my interest in the tarot. (Your icon reminds me of some tarot decks.) I've been going to my neighbor's house every evening for an hour, because she recently had a heart attack and she's battling depression. Gut feeling, I think she needs me. Anyway, she watches tarot videos, and that started it!
