Believe it or not, I'm just now reading about the incredible damage done by Hurricane Sandy. I'm really worried about my many friends on the East Coast. I know that (thank you, God) coastal_spirit is OK, but please, the rest of you (esp. you, zora113), check in with me, here or on your own LJ, and end my nail-biting.

Z should be fine! All we got down here was some wind and a cold front. It might have rained a bit for her, but mostly we got nothing more than a regular storm.

M's right. Like with most big storms, all it brought us was frankly beautiful weather. We didn't even get any rain and only a little wind. It's always the poor folks north of us who get the brunt of it all.

I'm so, so glad to hear this. You deserve the beautiful weather, so I hope you enjoyed it. I'm sorry for all those people killed in the storm, but if I'm going to be truthful, my primary emotion is relief that it wasn't any of you guys.

THANK YOU for telling me this! I was really relieved to hear it. Every time I heard a comment about the storm, I'd worry.
