I see that I forgot to tell y'all - I do not have gout. I still have to take medicine for my high uric acid levels, but no gout medication has helped my foot. So my doctor sent me to get an MRI. No broken bones or bone spurs or arthritis damage or anything. The doctor said there was evidence of an injury, and told me to take NSAIDs, put gel inserts in all my shoes, and try not to walk any more than I have to for at least two months. *sigh* If it ain't one thing it's another! But I sure am glad I have good health insurance.
