Oct. 2nd, 2011 07:20 pmI took my roomie to the eye doctor on Thursday, a cataract specialist. She hasn't been able to see much, other than a grey haze, through her left eye for weeks, and she'd been diagnosed with cataracts, so we figured she'd get the cataract surgery and be fine. Nope. She has cataracts, but not enough to interfere with her vision. They ran six different tests on her, and they've been able to rule out a retinal problem, so they believe it's the optic nerve. She's actually lost all vision in the lower third of the eye. She now needs to see a neurologist and get an MRI. So things are a bit depressing here right now. :(
